John, Oregonians deserve to know the truth: Donald Trump’s reckless actions have put Medicaid at risk for more than 1.4 million people in our state. In January, his administration abruptly shut down the federal Medicaid funding website, temporarily cutting off reimbursements for the Oregon Health Plan. While the system has since been restored, this is just a preview of what’s to come. Right now, Trump and his Republican allies in Congress are pushing a budget that would slash $880 billion from Medicaid, threatening healthcare access for working families and people with disabilities. I’m fighting for Oregon, for the resources we need to keep our healthcare system strong. But these attacks on vital programs are escalating, and I need you in this fight with me.
