He tweeted that in response to my visit to Ukraine and Poland. “You are a
traitor,” for having dinner with American soldiers deployed to Poland.
“You are a traitor” for meeting with Ukrainians defending their country
from a Russian invasion. “You are a traitor” for visiting with nurses and
doctors in hospitals that treat Ukrainian soldiers wounded in combat.

When I joined the Navy, I swore an oath to support and defend the
Constitution. I did it again when I was sworn in as Arizona’s United
States Senator. I will continue to uphold that oath, and because it
matters to our national security, I’m going to stand with Ukraine until
they win a peace that protects their sovereignty and safety.

Elon is only looking out for himself. And if he doesn’t understand that
defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps
us safe, maybe he should leave it to those of us who do.
