Join our DMV Citizen Action Team as we hit the streets every Thursday with
fun, creative and strategic actions to fight back against Trump & the
Oligarchs!
 
Last week, we joined Big Bird, Elmo & The Count at NPR HQ to sound the
alarm about Trump’s authoritarian attacks on public media (see pics
below).  This week, we’re going to be lobbying on Capitol Hill to block
Trump’s Budget Scam.  And then, the week after, we’ll be joining with the
postal workers to protect the Postal Service from privatization.   Learn

Thursday, March 13:  Capitol Hill Lobby Day 
 
This Thursday, March 13th, at 10:00 am, we will gather on Capitol Hill to
pressure Congress to protect vital programs like Medicaid and SNAP.  We’ll
be delivering personal postcards from Our Revolution members around the
nation who depend on these programs to get livesaving treatment and to
feed their families. Join us to stop the GOP from slashing critical
programs to pay for more wealthy tax cuts! 
 
Where:  Meet at Capitol South Metro Station (355 1st St SE)
When:   Thursday, March 13th @ 10:00 AM

March 20th: Defend the US Postal Service
 
On Thursday, March 20th at 10am we’ll take action again—this time in
support of the US Postal Service, which is under attack by the Trump
Administration, which wants to privatize this critical public service and
handover the reins to for-profit corporations like FedEx or UPS. We’ll be
joining members of the American Postal Workers Union to tell Trump: The US
Mail is NOT for sale! 
 
Where: Brentwood Postal Office (900 Brentwood Road NE, Washington, DC
20018)
When: Thursday, March 20th at 10am
