Background:
-
With Iran’s nuclear program advancing, it is crucial for the United States to use all available economic tools to increase pressure on the Iranian regime to alter its dangerous direction.
-
Iran uses its revenue from illicit oil sales to fund its terrorist proxies like Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and others that target Americans and Israelis alike.
-
Strengthening sanctions on Iran is essential to cutting off the cashflow to the regime and forcing it to alter its malign behavior.

The mission of AIPAC is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel.
