IS FACTORY FARMING MAKING US SICK?
We have just launched our revised and updated Is Factory Farming Making Us Sick? report. It makes for sobering reading and firmly places our use and abuse of
animals at the core of the emergence of many recent diseases. Please do take a read
[[link removed]] and share this with your social circle.

Getting animals off our collective plate would go a long way toward preventing
future pandemics and would improve our health and our environment at the same
time.

BAN THE WHIP – NOW!
The horse racing industry plans to resume racing this month, which means more
horses being forced to run, in the heat – and being beaten with the whip.

We want to see an end to this cruel ‘sport’, but in the interim please help us
achieve a ban on the whip.

Write to your MP straight away

WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR DONATION DOUBLED?
We have recently been overwhelmed by the generosity of a special supporter, who
has offered to match donations up to the value of £10,000 in support of our
work, which includes our vital campaign for CCTV in Welsh slaughterhouses. So, please do donate today and your donation could be doubled

HELP OUR CAMPAIGN AGAINST CRUEL CAGES
Please sign and share our new petition
[[link removed]] , which calls for a ban on the use of cruel cages to confine pheasants and
partridges who are used to breed birds to be shot for 'sport'.

Thank you.

HELP PEREGRINE CHICKS!
Thank you to everyone who has signed our petition so far. We’ve now reached over
6000 signatures! If you haven’t already, please sign and share our petition

chicks from their nests.

ASK YOUR MP TO SUPPORT A BAN ON WARFARE EXPERIMENTS ON ANIMALS
MPs will be coming back from their Whitsun break tomorrow and what could be
nicer than for them to see lots of emails, from concerned supporters, urging
them to support a ban on warfare experiments?!

To date 50 MPs have signed the EDM, urged to do so by more than 1,900
supporters. If you haven’t already, please ask your MP to sign EDM 291

FOX CULL HALTED!
After being alerted to a potential cull of foxes at Muswell Hill Golf Course,
Animal Aid and many other concerned animal lovers contacted them to urge them to
instead opt for humane methods of deterrence. Following this, we are delighted
that the golf course have announced that they will no longer consider culling as
a solution to any issues they have with foxes! Thank you to everyone who
contacted them, and to Muswell Hill Golf Course for making this compassionate
decision.

ANNUAL SPONSORED WALK – CANCELLATION
Due to Covid-19, sadly we have taken the decision to cancel our annual sponsored
walk on Hampstead Heath. This year would have been the 17th year of holding this
event, but the health and wellbeing of our supporters and staff is the most
important concern for us, at this difficult time.

As well as being a wonderful event for people and dogs alike, the walk has also
been a stalwart fundraising opportunity for us and generated significant amounts
of money in support of our campaigns.

Make a donation, and have your gift matched
