Did you know that 60% percent of kids living in poverty in the
U.S. don't have a children's book of their own,
John? That’s why we’ve
created 100 Days of Reading: a program that helps
combat learning loss over the summer
(especially for kids who have already been out of school for months!) and
helps
get books and educational materials into the hands of kids who have
none.
Here's how it works:
1. READ with your children every
day for 20 minutes - or more! 2. LOG: Then go to our site and log the
number of minutes you've read. 3. That's it! Every minute you
log will HELP Save the Children and
generous supporters give books and educational resources to kids in the
U.S. who need them most.
On the page you’ll also
find videos of celebrated
actors reading the
beloved children's stories and more educational
resources to keep your child learning and entertained
all summer long.
You're probably worried about children around
the world being out of school for so long due
to the pandemic. We are too; children living in poverty are at
an even higher risk of learning
loss.
100 Days of
Reading is an easy way to do something to help
– throughout the 100 days Save the Children and our partners will
be delivering
books and resources to kids in the U.S. who need them
most.

So...READ. LOG. HELP!
Thank you so much, Kelsey DeLaurentis, Integrated Marketing Manager P.S. Every minute you log helps get books and
educational resources to kids in rural America who are living in poverty.
Many
of them don’t have access to books, computers coloring books or
worksheets.
They need our help.
