Help fight NOx pollution!

Act now Right arrow

Hi John,

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) are a group of dangerous air pollutants linked to asthma, respiratory infections and increased hospital visits. Long story short, NOx pollution is a big health issue. But now we have an opportunity to change that! By law, EPA must review the NOx standards for gas-fired turbines, which is why we’re asking you to speak out.

It’s time for us to clear the air. EPA is updating a nearly 20-year-old rule regulating NOx pollution from gas-fired power plants and industrial sources. But to make the new rule as strong as possible, we need your help.

Submit a public comment today and help set the strongest clean air protections possible!

Today’s standards for NOx pollution are badly out of date. They don’t reflect what’s achievable using the latest science and readily available technology. But with your help, we can ensure that they cut NOx emissions from their biggest sources – gas-fired turbines at power plants and other industrial facilities.

If approved, EPA’s updated standards will regulate pollution from any new, refurbished or reconstructed facility in the U.S. Changes like these will cut thousands of tons of NOx pollution, protecting millions of people across the country from dirty air – including our most vulnerable populations, children and the elderly.

Don’t miss this opportunity to stop NOx pollution. Urge the EPA to protect community health by setting the strongest possible safeguards for gas-fired power plants and industrial sources!

Thank you for your strength and support,

Wes Rogerson,
