House Republicans have always used the chambers of the House to push their lies, friend, but last week’s address took it to the extreme.

As the President took the stage and abused the time given to him to deflect from the crises he’s created, House Republicans sat in the crowd cheering him on and parroting the policies that got us in this mess in the first place.

Americans are losing their jobs. Key federal agencies are being gutted. A cruel mass deportation scheme is tearing families apart. And all House Republicans can talk about is DOGE and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

It’s all a distraction, friend — they don’t want you to see that all their toxic Republican agenda entails is cutting taxes for the rich while stripping Americans of the rights and resources they need to succeed.

And their abysmal record speaks for itself. In just the past month, they’ve voted to both gut SNAP, ripping food away from struggling households, and to cut $880 Billion in Medicaid funding, kicking millions off an essential service that saves countless lives every year.

That doesn’t sound like a golden age to me.

Friend, House Republicans are hellbent on pushing an agenda that enriches the wealthiest and leaves the rest of America behind — and I won’t let them. I’m fighting every day to ensure no further steps to harm our communities and weaken our country are taken: will you pitch in and help me stop House Republicans from destroying the fabric of our nation?

I will always do everything I can to stand against extremism and protect the people I serve.
