We are less than two weeks away from SDSA's 2025 Chapter Convention, and it is shaping up to be a big one! Multiple resolutions and bylaws amendments have been submitted by members and will be discussed and voted upon, educational and recreational activities are being planned, opportunities for new members to meet and socialize with existing members, and of course we have Local Council elections!

Deadlines have passed for filing resolutions and bylaws amendments, but there are still a few important dates coming up:

Voting items for Convention can be found here.

Hope to see you there, in-person or virtually!

Looking for Volunteers to reach out to New Members!

Seattle DSA's Membership Engagement Committee is trying to reach out to every new member. That is a lot more people than it was a year ago, so we need more organizers on our team!

If you have been in SDSA for a while and can commit to at least two or three short phone meetings with new members, let us know at [email protected]

Thank you and Solidarity,

Seattle DSA MEC
