In states across the country, lawmakers are repealing common-sense gun violence prevention laws and introducing dangerous replacements.
From Wyoming to South Dakota, concealed and permitless carry laws are spreading. And with each of these laws, more guns can be legally brought onto school grounds, endangering our students, educators, and entire communities.
This isn’t a coincidence or an accident, John. It’s part of a massive, growing movement that wants to normalize guns everywhere. But trust me, as a survivor of a school shooting, I can tell you it should never be normal to enter a school and not know whether somebody there could have a weapon.
