Folks, The Cut recently published a fantastic interview of
Angela and newly-elected Delaware Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester!

They discussed their historic victories in November, settling in on
Capitol Hill, and delivering progress in Trump’s Washington.

+------------------------------------------------------------------------+
“My grandmother was a federal worker, and she never saw a Black woman
in the Senate. I’m a car salesman’s daughter, and I bet there aren’t
very many of them in the Senate. I will learn a lot from the people
here, but they will learn from me, too…

We won’t get everything we desire — we recognize that in the minority.
But I do believe we’re going to make progress.”

Angela has overcome the odds throughout her career, and made plenty of
history along the way. Whether she’s serving in student government or the
U.S. Senate, Angela doesn’t back down when things get tough. She steps up
to the plate.

In the Senate, Angela will always serve the people of Maryland with
energy, courage, and optimism, no matter who sits in the Oval Office.

An important update from Team Alsobrooks:

Angela is so thankful for this grassroots team’s support and is eager to
get to work for Marylanders in the Senate. That’s why you’ll be receiving
fewer fundraising emails from us moving forward, in an effort to not clog
up your inbox for the next six years.

Instead, we’d rather send you emails you want to read – like updates on
Angela’s work in the Senate, or rundowns of key issues and news stories
from Washington.

But to make this possible, we’re relying on supporters like you to
consider making a small, monthly recurring contribution of $3 or even $5
to keep our operations running while Angela is busy fighting for Maryland
families.
