Donald Trump is destroying the economy and has us sprinting toward a recession. Here’s the stock market over the past month:

Today alone, the market shrank by over 3% and the Dow tumbled nearly 1,000 points. This is an unmitigated disaster, and a complete own goal. Trump is so obsessed with tariffs that he is willing to send our economy into a recession in order to throw red meat to his base.

But what they will come to find out is that when Donald Trump destroys the economy, he hurts his own supporters, too. When stocks tumble, companies stop hiring, and prices continue skyrocketing—no one will be spared the pain.
