Nevada is facing a health care crisis — and I’m stepping up to fix it.

Right now, all 17 counties in our state are experiencing a doctor shortage, ranking Nevada 45th in the nation for active physicians per capita. That’s why I introduced the bipartisan Physicians for Underserved Areas Act — a crucial step to bring more doctors to southern Nevada by expanding medical residency slots, so our homegrown medical students can stay and serve our communities.

But there’s even more at stake: Congressional Republicans are pushing devastating cuts that would restrict Nevadans' access to vital medical care.

This fight is urgent — and so is my race. My margin of victory in 2024 was just 2.74% — the slimmest ever. NV-03 backed Trump while re-electing me, making my district a prime target for Trump’s allies who are determined to flip this seat and solidify their control in the House.

I’ve made Nevada history by securing a fourth consecutive term in this swing district — but holding this seat means defending health care for our most vulnerable neighbors.
