As Trump and Musk continue to tout DOGE and their firings of the federal workforce, the impact on Virginians and Virginia’s Governor’s race in November will be felt:

While my opponent, as well as Virginia’s current Republican Governor, continue to praise DOGE’s cuts to the federal workforce, Virginian families are sitting at home scared. These aren’t just numbers on a page — they are real people with real jobs who are feeling the fallout.
Virginia is home to more than 320,000 federal workers – many of whom have dedicated their lives to public service. They don’t want to hear Governor Youngkin’s hollow reassurances that they’ll easily be able to find another job. These are hardworking men and women whose careers are more than just a paycheck – they are on a mission to which they have devoted themselves. This mission of public service should be admired, not attacked.
I’ve traveled across our Commonwealth and heard directly from Virginians about their concerns — it comes up no matter where I go. As Governor, I will always stand up for Virginia jobs, regardless of who occupies the Oval Office.
Virginians deserve a leader who will stand up for them and their livelihoods. So, I hope you’ll join me in my campaign to flip the Governor’s office this November:
