Dear John,
My name is John Reid, and like many of you, I’ve been deeply concerned about our democracy for some time now. That's why I joined The Union as a volunteer about a year ago. While we didn’t get the election outcome we strived for last November, I was blown away by the community, and the sense of purpose I felt by joining The Union. That’s why I’m especially proud to introduce myself today as The Union’s new Northeast Regional Organizer.
I’ve been a grassroots organizer for much longer than I’ve been a member of The Union, and I’m excited to apply my skillset to the Union full time. Highly motivated people can move mountains when they get organized. That’s why I’m committed to giving each of you the support you need to ensure that future generations actually experience democracy instead of just reading about it in their history books.
