It’s Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes. Recently, a reporter asked me what I thought about Donald Trump’s executive order that could open up any state or local elected officials to prosecution if they don’t follow Trump’s orders blindly.

My response was simple – BRING. IT. ON.

I want to make it clear – I don’t work for Trump. I work for you, the people. No one voted for someone who acts like a king and thinks they can do whatever they want.

If you violate the Constitution, I will fight back. Every time Trump has crossed a line, I’ve sued — including a lawsuit against Elon Musk getting access to your private data. Not only are we suing, we’re winning!

If anyone tries to harm the people of Arizona, I will fight back. I’ve sued corporations for polluting our environment, engaging in anti-competitive mergers, creating poor living conditions, and colluding to jack up rent prices.

If corporations and powerful entities do wrong by the people of Arizona, I will take them on.

Because as Arizona Attorney General, I’m going to fight everyday for my people.
