First: Weeks ago, Trump and DOGE fired thousands of employees from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, disrupting research and farm support programs (ironic, considering in his joint address to Congress, Trump bragged about how much he loves farmers).

Then: We immediately fought back, raising the alarm on these illegal firings and their repercussions.

Now: An independent federal board has ordered the Trump administration to reinstate thousands of the fired U.S. Department of Agriculture workers.

Whether Trump and Elon are firing CIA officers that keep us safe, VA employees that provide health care for veterans, or park rangers that keep our public lands safe and accessible, it’s clear that they don’t care about Americans’ well-being.

Let’s remember: 30% of the federal workforce are veterans. They fought for our country and don’t deserve to be treated this way. But where are my Republican colleagues who love to say they support the military? They’re too scared to speak up.

Traumatizing the federal workforce isn’t how you get better production. It’s how you get economic chaos.
