🤲 Black History Month Socialist Spotlight 🤲
|
✊🏿Happy Black History Month✊🏿
Welcome to the second week of our Black History Month series, where we highlight Black radicals and their enormous contributions to the socialist movement in America. This week, we honor the legacy of Fred Hampton, a young Chicago revolutionary who demonstrated the power of unifying people through class consciousness against fascism and oppression. A gifted organizer, Hampton brought together groups of all different races and united Chicago-area gangs in taking direct action against social and economic injustices. Learn more about Fred Hampton’s life in this video and remember his legacy as we continue the fight that he bravely led.
“Nothing is more important than stopping fascism, because fascism will stop us all.” - Fred Hampton
