There’s a new sheriff in town.

The Trump Administration has filed a lawsuit against Governor Kathy Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James for violating federal law and jeopardizing the safety of New Yorkers with the state’s pro-illegal immigrant policies.

First, Hochul’s Executive Orders made New York a Sanctuary State by preventing law enforcement from working with federal immigration officials to deport illegal immigrants convicted of crimes.

Second, Hochul and James violated federal law by refusing to provide information to federal authorities about illegal immigrants who apply for drivers licenses under New York’s Greenlight Law.

Even worse, the Trump Administration uncovered massive fraud in a $2.1 billion Hochul program that gave $15,600 cash payments to illegal immigrants living in New York.

The Democrats have failed New York and President Trump and the House Republican Majority are standing up for us.
