Tomorrow is Election Day! It’s hard to believe this is the third time in the past four months that Iowans are turning out to vote, but here we are. Tomorrow’s special election is to fill Iowa HD 100, and Democrat Nannette Griffin is the candidate for the job.
Not only is this time to gain some ground in a red district, but it’s an opportunity to send another strong message to Republicans: Iowans are tired of their needs being ignored.
This is a Trump +27 district. Every point we can win back is a message to Republicans that we need better representation.
Skeptics said Democrats didn’t stand a chance at flipping the two seats in January’s special elections, but we did. And IDP has been knocking on doors, hosting rallies, and communicating with voters over the past few weeks to make sure it happens again tomorrow.
Chipping away at Republican domination will boost our momentum and get folks fired up about electing more Democrats this cycle. We’re shaping up to be strong competition for Reynolds and the GOP, and we’re just getting started.
