MSNBC attacked me. They’re just the most recent in a looooong list of mainstream media outlets that have attacked Let Us Worship. They called me a “Christian Extremist” and a “Christian Nationalist.”  I lay out the whole back story at the bottom of this email. 

Though that hit-piece was personal and venomous, this isn't the first time I've been attacked, and I take it all in stride. But I'm reminded of John 15, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you."

Here’s the backstory: California was ravaged by wildfires in January, and Let Us Worship held multiple events to collect supplies, provide relief, and pray for first responders and victims.

The response to our revivals went far beyond what we imagined, and last week, I was invited to join HUD Secretary Scott Turner to survey the damage and join the conversation about rebuilding Los Angeles.
