Change the Story: The Path to Zero

Today, the Change the Story campaign continues with The Path to Zero. Our new film - launched at the African Union Summit this past weekend - shines a light on the children most affected by malaria whose voices often go unheard. The film brings to life their stories, urging leaders to take action to save millions of lives.

This campaign was only possible thanks to our powerful new partnership with African Leaders Malaria Alliance. Together, we have built a global campaign putting children’s voices at its heart—one that aims to motivate leaders to end malaria in a generation.

We’ve never had a more powerful set of tools to fight malaria—from vaccines to next-gen mosquito nets and new drugs.

Scientists across Africa and beyond are driving game-changing innovations to end malaria for good.

But we need the world to take action. We’re urging global leaders to back the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria at its replenishment this year—a make-or-break moment for progress. Malaria-affected countries can also step up, strengthening local efforts to fight the disease.

Leaders must hear children’s voices—their future depends on today’s decisions.

It’s time to change the story.
