STOP WORK ORDER: In Gaza, 50,000 pregnant women, already struggling to access basic necessities, face losing critical care as UNFPA’s mobile health teams are going to be forced to halt operations.
This is the wrong time to be scaling back our lifesaving work in Gaza. Will you rush a donation right now to sustain programs for women, girls, pregnant mothers, and infants? [[link removed]?]

The scale of destruction in Gaza is staggering. Satellite data shows 60% of buildings are damaged or destroyed, including 92% of homes, 88% of schools, and 50% of hospitals. Families have returned to widespread destruction across the region, leaving shortages for basic health and community services.

As communities attempt to recover, we’ve stepped up to offer lifesaving services that provide education, promote healthcare, and work to end violence against women. Health systems are barely functioning, with only 18 of 36 hospitals in the region partially operational and still facing potential shortages of fuel, medicine, and supplies.

UNFPA is scaling our efforts to fill this gap in care:

A surge in aid has allowed UNFPA and other partners to expand lifesaving assistance, particularly in previously inaccessible areas, with plans for increased deliveries of food, fuel, shelter, medical supplies, and water and sanitation equipment. But the 90-day stop work order has frozen approved critical U.S. governmental funding for our lifesaving care in Gaza and beyond.

Your support has a tangible impact on the services we’re able to deliver. So will you make a contribution right now to help us continue to deliver critical services as we combat the humanitarian crisis in Gaza? [[link removed]?]

MAKE AN EMERGENCY GIFT [[link removed]?]

We condemn the violence in Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank, and Israel, and hope for a sustained humanitarian ceasefire, the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages by Hamas, and an end to the violence. The suffering must end and peace must prevail.

Thank you for stepping up today.
