This President’s Day, stand with us for community care! 

We appeal to you today, President’s Day, as a backdrop to emphasize the importance of Community, not government, as we face unprecedented challenges with the current state of funding for nonprofits, especially in public health.

Community is more than a place; it is a shared bond between people with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, social ties, and values, united by a sense of fellowship and purpose. Today, we are reaching out with an urgent plea for your support.

At SisterLove, our mission is to ensure health equity and reproductive justice for everyone, everywhere—no matter their income, background, or identity.  Whether that be in the form of providing free HIV, STI, and pregnancy testing, education, counseling, linkage to care, or working directly with legislators, SisterLove has been a staple in the community for 36 years. There’s never been a more important time to support us.
