There are 156 days until Election Day in November. 156 days.
And it’s on all of us to expand the electorate and register as many voters as possible. I believe, if we work together, the COVID-19 crisis is an opportunity to strengthen our voting infrastructure and expand access to the ballot box, so every eligible voter can participate on Election Day safely.
But instead, right-wing politicians are doing what they do best – using the crisis as an excuse to further block the vote and disenfranchise entire communities. To fight back, we must organize, mobilize, and legislate. Right now, The Collective is working to register as many voters as possible to help elect the next wave of Black leaders, like Mondaire Jones – who is running for Congress in New York.
Friend – voter suppression and discrimination have no place in a just democracy. Help us protect the right to vote. Rush support to The Collective's voter registration efforts today before the end-of-month deadline →

The occupant of the White House makes his intentions abundantly clear when he spreads misinformation about mail-in voting and calls on his allies to fight efforts to safely expand access to the ballot box – even though our very lives and our democracy could depend on it. Why? Because he said mail-in voting "doesn’t work out well for Republicans."
We are outraged because this is outrageous. Voting is one of the most fundamental rights we are granted as citizens of this nation. Democracy only works when everyone is represented, and that requires protecting the right to the ballot for those of us who have historically been left out and left behind.
The Collective plans to register thousands of voters across the country, so we can build Black political power and make our voices heard on Election Day. I hope you'll join our fight, friend. Donate today before this crucial deadline.
In solidarity,
Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley
