I’ll get right to it: I can’t think of a better way to spend this President’s Day than reaffirming our commitment to fighting back against Donald Trump and his unprecedented attacks on the Constitution and the appalling levels of corruption that have already come to dominate this administration.

The world is watching. History is watching.

It’s going to take a herculean effort to keep the Trump/Musk Administration in check, but there’s never been a more important time to speak truth to power and stand up to a President. He’s dissolved government agencies, paused federal aid that supports children and seniors, undermined national security, taken swings at Social Security & Medicare, and, not to mention, broken the law countless times… and it’s only been a month.

Trump and Musk are claiming the powers to undo legislation and redirect funds that Congress has appropriated– powers that the Constitution clearly gives to Congress and Congress alone. What Trump and Musk are doing is nothing short of trying to remake this country as a dictatorship. And feckless Congressional Republicans are allowing this to happen.

That’s why I’ve been at the forefront of our efforts to fight back against the DOGE/Trump coup. Because I know we need to stand up and fight like hell to save this country.

But here’s the unfortunate truth: The more that I fight back against Trump’s unconstitutional mandates and Elon Musk’s illegal power grabs, the more Republicans will try to get me out of office.

(Personally, the way I see it: If Republicans place a target on my back for leading the effort against Trump’s corruption, it means I’m doing my job right. But it also means that they’ll make my road to re-election as difficult as possible. So that’s why I need you with me.)

Help me send a powerful message to the President and his MAGA allies that we’ll never stop holding them accountable, no matter what political games they try to play.
