Rep. Nancy Mace has filed her censure resolution against me. The so-called "party of free speech" is now ready to punish Members of Congress for calling out Elon Musk. But I will not be silenced.

This moment demands action — not just words. We must expose the corruption and hypocrisy of the right-wing MAGA agenda, and fight back with everything we’ve got. For too long, House Republicans have used extreme rhetoric to attack their opponents, while we’ve had to hold back. That stops now.

When I spoke during the House DOGE committee hearing last week, I wasn’t just calling out Elon Musk. I was exposing the hypocrisy of Marjorie Taylor Greene chairing any committee, and shining a light on the real harm Musk is causing to Americans: destroying our institutions, while profiting at the expense of working-class Americans.

Let’s not get distracted by the noise. Here’s what’s really happening: tens of thousands of newly unemployed federal workers, families struggling to make ends meet, cuts to vital services like education, Medicaid, veterans' benefits, and global health programs — all while your tax dollars are funneled to billionaires like Musk. It was recently reported that Musk will receive a $400 million contract from the Department of Defense for Tesla trucks. But don’t worry, there’s no conflict of interest here.

This is absolutely outrageous. The American people deserve better, and they demand better. We didn’t build the strongest democracy in the world just to watch it be dismantled by a billionaire from South Africa and a reality TV show president.

They can censure me. They can attack me. They can lie about me. But I will not back down. This fight is too important. And I promise you, I’m in it for the long haul.
