Get your Women With Warren t-shirts, tanks, and tote bags to honor today's historic milestone.
Ninety-nine years ago today, the 19th Amendment was ratified, giving women the long-overdue right to vote.
But the fight wasn't over then, and it isn't over now.
For generations, the movement for suffrage and women's rights didn't include all women, and too many women of color were still blocked from the ballot box. But we have to fight for everyone to make true progress for anyone, and our fight must include everyone who identifies as a woman — no matter their age, their race, their religion, who they love, or whether they have a disability.
We build momentum for the work ahead by celebrating how far we've come, and by honoring the strength and diversity of the movement we're a part of together.
That's why we partnered with a local artist named Erin Griffiths to create a piece of art that represents Women With Warren — a community of women across the country who are in this fight.
The design is a beautiful, powerful reminder of who makes up this community, and who we're fighting for.
Today and every day, we honor everyone who wakes up and works hard to make life better for women everywhere, and for the girls who will come after us.
Whenever Elizabeth meets a little girl on the campaign trail, she tells her, "My name is Elizabeth, and I'm running for president, because that's what girls do." Then they pinky promise to always remember it.
We want every girl to grow up knowing that they can fight from the heart — and they can win.
