While not easy, I’m so proud of the work our campaign has been able to do while following public health guidelines.

But that doesn’t mean the transition back to normal will be easy. It’s going to take time for our economy, labor force, schools, and local governments to recover.

I promise to be there every step of the way during this process.

For too long, our district has had a representative that ignores our needs, doesn’t listen to our voices, and doesn’t vote in our interests. In a scoring of representatives’ bipartisanship, Tom McClintock was recently ranked all the way at 433rd.

Tom McClintock is incapable of putting partisanship aside to fight for this district. When it comes down to choosing between his party and our district’s values, he lets us down every time.

McClintock spends his time in Washington droning on about nothing and denying facts for the sake of pleasing his party bosses and his special-interest donors.

That’s definitely not the type of leadership we need -- we need someone who will work across the aisle to find solutions to our country’s biggest problems.

From protecting Medicare and Social Security to modernizing our infrastructure, reigniting small business, and making government work smarter, there’s a lot of work to do -- and I will be a representative for all corners of our community in Washington.
