By joining as a member today, you’ll deliver the funding and resources to drive our movement forward. And you will show solidarity with people like Susan, who lost her son Tyler to the overdose crisis.
Susan says that
“Tyler loved life. Even with all of the darkness that came with his struggles, his presence always made the world feel lighter... His smile and laugh were infectious.”
Like so many people in our country, Tyler became addicted to opioids—and he desperately wanted treatment.
“But Tyler faced barrier after barrier from the system, from insurance companies, from the criminal justice system, that prevented him from getting the help he needed.”
You and I both know he deserved so much better. That’s why we can’t stop fighting. Especially not now.
Instead of increasing services and treatments that could help people like Tyler, the Trump Administration is threatening to take them away and telling people and families to fend for themselves. We must protect funding for treatment, overdose prevention, and other lifesaving services.
