Hello — In just a few hours, we’ll close the books on one of the most important fundraising deadlines of this campaign.

Here’s the truth: our campaign manager approved a very large investment in paid media to fight back against the nasty Republican attacks against John. It was the right call, but she’s worried we won’t reach our May fundraising goal tonight.

If we miss this goal, we’ll have to pull back critical resources just as Mitch McConnell’s super PAC goes all-out to defeat us. We can’t let that happen.
