John,
House Republicans are setting the stage for Donald Trump’s $4.5 trillion tax scam that mostly benefits the wealthy and powerful—paid for on the backs of working people.[1]
Now, a new poll reveals that 76% of voters oppose new tax cuts for billionaires, and 70% reject corporate tax giveaways. Even 67% of Trump voters disapprove of Congress passing additional tax cuts for wealthy individuals.[2]
Yet, instead of listening to their constituents, Republicans want to lock in Trump’s tax breaks for the ultra-rich, while gutting Medicaid and other vital services to pay for them.
Make no mistake: these tax cuts aren’t for you, your family, or your community. They’re a direct handout to the wealthiest Americans and large, profitable corporations, and if we don’t stop them now, we’ll be paying the price for decades to come.
Tell Congress: Listen to your constituents. Reject billionaire tax giveaways. Protect working families instead.
This is more than bad policy—it’s corruption in plain sight. According to a recent Americans for Tax Fairness report, Republicans on the Congressional committees responsible for crafting tax law are worth an average of $15 million apiece. If their tax law passes, their families would personally benefit from up to $24 million in tax breaks—while working families will be left with higher healthcare costs, weakened public services, and soaring deficits that Republicans will use as an excuse to cut Social Security and Medicare.[3]
We’ve seen this scam before. The Trump tax cuts in 2017 were designed to make the rich richer. Corporate stock buybacks soared to record highs, CEO salaries skyrocketed, billionaires saw their wealth explode—and American families got none of the economic benefits they were promised.[4]
Now, Republicans want to double down on the same failed policies, despite the fact that even Trump voters overwhelmingly oppose them.
Right now members of Congress are just hearing from their wealthy donors and corporate lobbyists. The only way we stop this billionaire tax giveaway is with massive public pressure. If enough of us speak out, we can force them to listen.
Tell Congress to stand with their constituents, not billionaires and large, profitable corporations.
Thank you for your commitment to building a fairer economy for all.

John,
Republicans in Congress are charging ahead with a reckless tax plan that hands trillions to the wealthiest Americans while gutting critical services for working families. But they’re not just ignoring economic fairness, they’re defying the will of their own voters.
A recent national survey revealed that 67% of voters believe the wealthy pay too little in federal taxes. Even 49% of Trump voters agree that the rich aren’t paying their fair share, and 56% say the same about large corporations.[1]
Yet the GOP’s latest tax plan doesn’t just extend Trump’s tax cuts for the rich, it goes even further, cutting Medicaid and food assistance to pay for giveaways to billionaires and corporate giants.
If Congress passes these tax breaks for the rich and powerful, it won’t be in service of their constituents—it will be in service of the same ultra-wealthy donors and corporate lobbyists who have spent decades rigging the tax code in their favor.
It’s a direct attack on working families, and we can’t let it happen. Tell Congress: Stand with your constituents, not billionaires and corporations.
House Republicans are working overtime for Donald Trump’s $4.5 trillion tax scam to hand even more tax breaks mostly to wealthy donors. It’s the same old playbook: give the rich a free pass, then claim we can’t afford the programs that everyday Americans rely on.[2]
Even 71% of Trump voters agree that slashing Medicaid is unacceptable and 60% hold the same stance on cutting SNAP benefits.
The numbers are staggering: if Republicans succeed, the families of the wealthiest GOP members of the tax writing committee could personally benefit from up to $24 million in tax breaks. Middle-class families will be left to foot the bill through higher healthcare costs and weaker public services.[3]
We need to send a clear message: Voters are watching and we will not stand for another billionaire tax giveaway at our expense.
Tell Congress: Reject tax cuts for billionaires and corporations. Protect Medicaid, Social Security, and programs that serve working families.
Thank you for taking action,
