Women and children in the toughest places walk an average of 1-2 hours a day, and often much more, to collect water for their families. Many times, the water they collect is not even clean.
When you consider their suffering — and how many people still lack access to clean water — what can you really do to make a difference?
This year for World Water Day, we invite you to take the Wait2Hydrate challenge. Simply wait two hours after waking to take your first drink of any beverage. Or take it a step further by not using water in any way to start your day.
