Republicans are staunchly anti-public education, and not just in Iowa.

Trump is drafting an executive order to abolish the Department of Education nationwide. This would not only gut funding for public schools and higher education across the country, but it would directly impact rural and low-income communities across our state.

Iowa Republicans have been attacking our public education system for years. Governor Kim Reynolds herself has authorized over $314 million of taxpayer dollars to private school vouchers.

The attacks on our public schools have to end. That’s why IDP is organizing across all 99 counties of Iowa to help pro-education Democrats get elected.
