Trump’s trail of chaos has gone global.

Perhaps his most destructive mark so far has been his full support for Elon Musk’s rampage through USAID as he unlawfully shuts down countless lifesaving programs globally.

He’s putting lives at risk, fueling public health crises and showing America to be an unreliable partner – not to mention trampling upon the Constitution and Congress’ role of setting and overseeing our spending.

In Israel-Palestine, these moves threaten a fragile ceasefire and kneecap peace and coexistence programs that are reliant on American funding sources.

To dig into the impact of this chaos – and what it means for Israelis and Palestinians in particular – we’ll be joined Thursday by former West Bank and Gaza USAID Mission Director Larry Garber and Israeli-based peace advocate Dr. Yael Braudo-Bahat.

Larry served as a senior official with USAID for 15 years, including five as mission director for the West Bank and Gaza. Yael is the founder and co-director of Women Wage Peace, one of the largest grassroots peace movements in Israel, which is supported by USAID.

They’ll take your questions, share what they’re hearing from those on the ground, and outline the real-world impact of suddenly cutting off support for programs the US and its partners have spent years building up.

As with seemingly all of Trump’s actions, it’s those who have already suffered most who will pay the price – everyday Israelis and Palestinians who’ve already endured over a year of hell.
