I’m sick of hearing about how Trump loves veterans.

Complete garbage.

Elon Musk and Donald Trump just fired 1000 VA staff, many of them veterans themselves. All of those staff in one way or another served veterans, or their families, or the people they left behind.

He just told all the people depending on VA health clinics and hospitals — take a hike.

Anybody who might call the Veterans Crisis Line — figure it out yourself.

Veterans who worked another job and switched to the VA less than a year ago? Fired.

That’s not even mentioning thousands more veterans across the federal government who have served for years and were fired without cause over the last three weeks.

All because Elon Musk (the richest guy on earth) and Donald Trump (who dodged the draft five times) want to save a quick buck and pass a tax cut for themselves. How is that America First? They don’t stand for our military, and they sure as hell don’t back veterans.

It’s on us to fight back. I’m going to do everything I can in the Senate to defend the VA, improve it, and help it meet the needs of the generations of veterans that depend on it.
