State legislatures across the country are taking bold action to protect their constituents from the dangerous executive orders and policy initiatives coming out of the White House.

In Virginia, 35% of women in the state legislature are Emerge alums! Despite obstruction at every step of the way, Democrats in the state legislature used their majority to fight back and pass three constitutional amendments that would:

🚺 Enshire abortion rights
🏳️‍🌈 Secure marriage equality for all
🗳️ Restore voting rights for felons

This is the power of electing Emerge women! Our work has never been more important, and we need to build up an even stronger firewall to defend our most fundamental rights.
