John, We've got a critical update as we intervene for Christians facing imminent torture and execution. Our client Ahsan is one of these Christians facing death. His hometown in Pakistan erupted in a riot that saw a Muslim mob burn down over 20 churches and 80 Christian homes. During the brutality, this young Christian was falsely blamed by radical Islamic authorities. He was arrested and sentenced to execution by hanging. We are appealing Ahsan's case through our office in Pakistan. But, unfortunately, his case isn't unusual. JUST yesterday, we submitted key written submissions to the U.N. Human Rights Council. Our team will go before the Council in Geneva to present oral interventions in additional heartbreaking Christian persecution cases. God has called us to represent numerous Christians on death row in Pakistan.
