Dear John,
Shared leadership is growing in every part of our organization. Believing in collective power has always been core to Headwaters’ community-led grantmaking, and in recent years, we’re proud to have
grown it within our staff<[link removed]>, our Board, and now our Co-Executive Director roles.
Today, we are excited to share insights from our Board Co-Chairs, Eric Howard and Fran Hutchins (Hutch), about shared leadership within the Headwaters Board. In our latest blog,
Co-Chairs in Conversation: The Benefits of Headwaters’ Shift to Co-Leadership<[link removed]>, they reflect on the benefits of shared decision-making, the unique strengths they bring to their roles, and how this approach is shaping the future of our foundation.
As we continue our search for a second Co-Executive Director, this conversation underscores the power of co-leadership to create a more sustainable and impactful Headwaters.
Read the blog on our website<[link removed]> to hear from Eric and Hutch about our commitment to collaboration and collective leadership.
Know someone who’d be great at building collective power with us? Encourage them to apply for our
Co-Executive Director position<[link removed]>! To be considered in our first round of screening, interested candidates should apply by February 28th at 5 p.m.
In solidarity,
Headwaters Foundation for Justice
