[ [link removed] ]The Senate is voting THIS WEEK on whether to confirm Kash Patel as FBI
Director. We cannot allow a Trump loyalist to take control of the nation’s top
law enforcement agency.

Call your senators now and demand they vote NO on Patel! >>

Friend,

We already know what Trump wants from his government: blind loyalty and
total obedience. He is purging career public servants – and replacing them
with enforcers who will do whatever he says.

Now, he’s trying to install Kash Patel as FBI Director – a man who won’t
just follow orders but will actively weaponize the FBI to serve Trump’s
personal agenda.

We’ve already seen what happens when Trump’s Justice Department tries to
force public servants into political obedience:

* U.S. Attorney Danielle Sassoon resigned rather than follow an unlawful
order to manipulate corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams –
part of a pressure campaign to force Adams to support Trump’s
immigration crackdown.
* Senior prosecutor Denise Cheung in Washington DC was told to
criminally investigate a Biden-administration environmental grant,
even though there was insufficient evidence to support an
investigation. Then DOJ ordered her to illegally freeze that funding.
It was a blatantly political abuse of power. And Cheung resigned
rather than be part of it.
* Six prosecutors from the DOJ’s criminal and public integrity unit
resigned rather than participate in Trump’s abuses of power

These public servants took their oath to the Constitution seriously. Kash
Patel would do the opposite.

If Patel is confirmed, Trump will have exactly what he wants: an FBI
director who will investigate and punish his political enemies while
protecting his allies.

Senate Republicans face a choice. They can do the right thing and reject
Patel – or they can confirm him and hand Trump the power to turn the FBI
into his personal police force.

Trump’s allies have already tried to use the Justice Department to
pressure elected officials and interfere in government funding. With Patel
running the FBI, it will only get worse. The next time Trump demands a
politically motivated investigation or an unlawful prosecution, Patel will
be leading the charge.

We need to act now. Every senator who votes to confirm Patel will be
responsible for what happens next. Every senator who votes no will be
standing up for democracy.

future of the FBI – and our democracy – depends on it. >>

Thank you for your advocacy.
