Kash Patel’s nomination has advanced out of the Senate Judiciary Committee and is headed to a full confirmation vote in the Senate.

I will vote NO on Kash Patel’s confirmation to FBI Director, and I strongly urge my Republican colleagues to put country over party and join me.

As a MAGA loyalist and conspiracy theorist, Patel is a disastrous pick for this critical security role:

• He has indicated support for January 6th insurrectionists.
• He’s pledged to “come after” the media — and any political figures he deems to be the enemy.
• And he has significant financial ties to China and Russia!

There is only one option for any Senator who considers American security to be a top priority — and that is a definitive NO vote on Kash Patel.

Will any Republican put American security first — or will they deliver yet another piece of evidence that they are the Trump-First party?
