John,
From schools to businesses to our workforce and economy, this nation depends on immigrant contributions.
That's why, as an immigrant myself, I will never back down from defending our immigrant communities.
|
John, we’ve been hearing about immigrants across the country being arrested by federal agents while attending routine immigration check-ins or court appointments.
Right-wing extremists claim they support immigration if it’s done the "lawful" way, but it's clear ICE is not respecting this, to the point of targeting vulnerable families and ignoring basic human rights.
With our community, in the courts, and in Congress, we need to stand united to protect our neighbors, keep families together, and push for humane immigration reform.
John, La Villita, Chicago, and the rest of Illinois se defienden against Trump’s harmful agenda, which is why I need your help to show the strength of our supporters. Will you sign your name to show that we will continue to defend our immigrants, in defiance of Trump and his allies' grassroots efforts?

Sincerely Congressman Chuy García
