ACT NOW: Claim your free “Fire Elon Musk” sticker >>
John, the Washington Post refused to run our Fire Elon Musk ad – so we’re making sure everyone sees it anyway.
Billionaire-owned media can’t be the gatekeepers of our democracy. That’s why we’re doubling down and taking this fight directly to the people.
Wealthy elites shouldn’t control what we see, read, OR say. Be a part of this campaign for truth by claiming your FREE “Fire Elon Musk” sticker today – and displaying it for all to see >>
For weeks, Common Cause has been fighting to keep Elon Musk’s greedy hands off our schools, our hospitals, our personal data, and our Social Security.
We’ve collected hundreds of thousands of petition signatures, driven tens of thousands of calls and letters to Congress, and 5,000+ members like you even chipped in to help fund this campaign.
For our next move, we were planning a full-page ad in the Washington Post calling for Musk to be fired – delivered straight to the White House and congressional offices.
But at the very last minute, the paper backed out of the ad deal and refused to explain why. Well, that decision backfired. Instead of silencing us, the Post sparked off a media firestorm – with our ad and campaign to Fire Elon Musk now being covered by CNN, The New York Times, The Hill, and more.
Americans are fed up with legacy media covering for those in power. And as long as they refuse to hold the powerful accountable, we’re ready to do it ourselves with your help.
John, we won’t let billionaires silence our movement – claim your FREE “Fire Elon Musk” sticker now and make sure everyone sees our message >>
Thanks for all you do,
The Team at Common Cause
P.S. You can help make sure everyone sees our message that the Washington Post wanted to cover up by forwarding this email to three friends, sharing our blog post, or linking to the coverage in The Hill.
