This November, Adam is up for re-election to continue representing California’s 28th district in Congress, and his GOP opponent is a far-right super fan of, you guessed it, Donald Trump. 

Our opponent regularly goes on Fox News, and even nuttier OAN, to bash Adam, heap praise on Trump, and rattle off a seemingly-endless stream of invective, smears and lies.

Just take a look at some of the things our opponent has said recently:

“I have been one of the most vocal supporters of Donald Trump in California since I got involved in politics”

“God was smiling on America the day Donald Trump was elected”

“[Trump] has done fantastic things for our country”

“I happen to believe in this president”

“People thank me for taking that position”

“I am proud to support President Trump”

“I tout the great things he’s done for our country since he got elected”

Not only is he clearly a huge fan of Trump, but our opponent has called Adam “a liar,” “a leaker,” “a pathological liar,” and, frankly, much worse. 

John, imagine if one of Trump’s biggest fans took Adam’s seat in Congress.
