Here’s what politicians don’t want you to know about carbon taxes:

A hidden carbon tax on business is a carbon tax on you.

Liberal leadership front-runner Mark Carney isn’t scrapping the carbon tax, he just wants to hide it.

“So, in changing the carbon tax … We are making the large companies pay for everybody,” Carney said.

Carney’s hoping you won’t notice when those costs are passed on to YOU at the gas station, on your heating bills and when you buy groceries.

Thousands of supporters like you have already emailed Carney to tell him you’re against any kind of carbon tax.

And thanks to supporters like you, the Canadian Taxpayers Federation hired a national polling firm to ask Canadians what they think.

The poll shows 70 per cent of Canadians think businesses would pass most or some of the cost on to consumers. Just 12 per cent of people believe businesses will pay most of the cost of an industrial carbon tax. The rest were unsure.

But Carney isn’t the only one who needs to hear this message.

Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives are ahead in the polls. But there are legions of lobbyists, activists, media commentators and political strategists pushing for hidden carbon taxes.

Poilievre needs to hear from YOU.
