Democrats and their allies are fighting tooth-and-nail to stop the Republican onslaught against voting rights -- and we just won a few key battles.
The ACLU has proudly declared "VICTORY" after a federal court ruled South Carolinians would all have the right to vote by mail in their June elections -- and wouldn't need a witness signature in order to do so.
Meanwhile, a U.S. District Court Judge has ruled that disenfranchised felons in Florida will no longer have to pay a poll tax in order to regain the right to vote.
But Republicans are expected to appeal the Florida ruling -- and South Carolina's ruling is only temporary and does not apply to the presidential election in November. That means there's still a long way to go and a ton Republicans can do to reverse the progress we've made. Tell us if you plan on protecting your rights by using them:
