John, since you're a committed member of this team, I wanted to give you an update on the state of the DNC's integration with the Biden campaign for president. Your strong commitment helped make this possible -- so, please read more about that progress then become one of the 314 more donors from Washington to donate $7 before tonight's FEC deadline to help the DNC scale up these resources for Joe Biden and Democrats nationwide.

The coming together of the DNC and Biden’s campaign for president has been unlike any other. Our integration is going historically well, and that is no doubt because of the skill level of staff on both sides, as well as the programs that generous donors this cycle are helping support. Here are just a few examples of those assets:

  • Battleground Build-Up 2020 is a historic investment in organizing and operations in 12 battleground states. We launched this effort earlier this year to enhance our ability to scale resources rapidly for this specific moment in the election.

  • In early April, the DNC reserved over $22 million in advertising in 14 key competitive states to defeat Trump.

  • Our state-of-the-art Data Warehouse, the centerpiece of our tech efforts, is already helping Democratic campaigns and committees at all levels better store, access, and analyze voter data that's essential to mobilizing the vote before Election Day. It will also help us to continue to innovate, expand, and improve our data capabilities in 2020 and beyond.

By joining forces with VP Biden’s campaign, we are forming the strongest Democratic presidential campaign in modern history. Now, we must scale up these programs to adapt to this new landscape and mobilize voters nationwide. This is a critical phase of the cycle -- and with this fundraising deadline tonight, the moment calls for your urgent support.

A tremendous amount of thought, analysis, and planning has gone into building the infrastructure that we’re now handing over to the Biden campaign -- I can't thank you enough for your unwavering support of the DNC. That infrastructure will assist thousands of other Democrats running for office this year -- which is why it's so important that 314 more donors from Washington pitch in their support before this deadline.

We're zeroing in on the best way to scale up these programs while integrating with the Biden team, and we can't afford to fall short of this month's fundraising goal.
