That’s why I started Storm PAC. While national headlines focus on House races in New York and California, the real battleground for control of Congress is right here in the Midwest. If we’re going to stop Trump’s allies from flipping the House, we need to protect and support the Democrats fighting in tough Midwestern districts like mine.

I’ve seen some Democrats turn to consultants and five-point plans for answers. I’ll be honest, I’ve never been a fan of that approach. When I ran for Congress in 2022, the political establishment told me not to. They said I couldn’t win, that I’d cost Democrats the seat. But I didn’t listen to the so-called experts. I listened to my community. And I won.
Now, I’m taking action again. We’ve seen what happens when we show up, invest in the right races, and push back against the GOP’s attacks. The path to a Democratic majority runs through heartland states like Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. We have to invest now to hold the line.
