Today is a big day in American history. On this day in 1920, Congress officially ratified the 19th Amendment, cementing the right to vote for women in the United States.

It took a decades-long struggle to obtain women’s suffrage -- organizing on a massive scale, a dedicated strategy, and a whole group of people determined to see it through. Sound familiar?
