Hello, I just made a tough call to help us flip this Senate seat from red to blue.
Republican groups plan to outspend our campaign 2:1 on the airwaves in the coming months — and they’re doing it knowing that our fundraising has slowed down a bit since the start of this pandemic.
So, I just authorized a large investment in paid media to fight back against Republican attacks and to expand our campaign in the coming weeks. To be honest with you, I approved this investment even though it makes our budget for the quarter much tighter than we would want.
Our finance team says we’re projected to fall short on our fundraising goal before Sunday’s deadline, but I’m willing to bet that this grassroots team can get us back on track and ensure we have the financial resources to take this calculated risk and fight back now.
